Winter or Summer, if you like to vacation in the great outdoors this is the ultimate getaway. It's a perfect place to spend some quiet time without the hussle and bussle of a larger town atmosphere.
Tom's Place is nestled in the majestic surroundings of the Eastern Sierra. Mountains, creeks, lakes and hundreds of miles of groomed trails to hike, bike, horseback ride, or 4-wheel in the summer months, and snowshoe, cross-country ski or ice skate in the winter.
The many nearby lakes and creeks are stocked with trout and surrounded by breathtaking views of the numerous mountain peeks and canyons. You can even fish Rock Creek by just walking out your cabin door! Great bike trails down lower Rock Creek road.
Tom's place is only 7 miles from the Sno Park, operated by the Inyo National Forest Service. For a small fee, you can enjoy the numerous groomed trails for some great cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing (a seasons pass is also available). You can obtain these passes at the General Store at Tom's Place.
